Privacy policy

 

Oomaru Seisakusho 3 Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") concerning the handling of user information, including personal information, in relation to its personal communication sales service provided through PC sites, tablet sites, smartphone sites, and smartphone applications, collectively referred to as "the Service". Additionally, the Japanese version of this Privacy Policy shall be considered the official version. The English version is provided for reference purposes only.

  

1. Types of User Information Collected and Methods of Collection

Within the scope of this Policy, "User Information" encompasses information related to user identification, activity history on the communication service, and other information generated or accumulated in relation to the user or the user's device, which the Company collects in accordance with this Policy.

The types of User Information collected by the Company through the Service, depending on the method of collection, are as follows:

1. Information Provided by Users
The information provided by users for utilizing the Service or through the use of the Service includes:
- Information related to the profile such as name, date of birth, and gender
- Contact information such as email address, telephone number, and delivery address
- Payment information such as credit card details and billing address
- Information inputted or transmitted by users through input forms or other methods determined by the Company

2. Information Collected by the Company When Users Utilize the Service
The Company may collect information about access and usage patterns of the Service. This includes:
- Referrer

- Information related to server access logs
- Cookies, ADID, IDFA, and other identifiers
 

2. Purposes of Use

The specific purposes for which the User Information related to the provision of the Service is used are as follows:

1. To facilitate the provision, maintenance, protection, and improvement of the Service, including registration for the Service, identity verification, and payment of product purchase fees.
2. For measuring user traffic and behavior.
3. For the delivery, display, and effectiveness measurement of advertisements.
4. To respond to inquiries and provide information related to the Service.
5. To address actions that violate the terms and policies of the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms, etc.").
6. To notify changes in the Terms, etc., related to the Service.

 

3. Methods for Notification, Publication or Consent Acquisition, and Requests for Termination of Use

Users may request the cessation of collection or use of all or part of their user information by configuring the settings provided in the Service. In such cases, the Company will promptly cease its use in accordance with the procedures established by the Company. However, for certain categories of user information, the collection or use thereof is a prerequisite for the Service. Therefore, the Company will only cease the collection or use of such information if it deems that the necessity for providing products or services related to the Service has been eliminated.

 

4. External Transmission, Third-Party Provision, and Presence of Information Collection Modules

In the Service, partner entities may store cookies on the user's device and use them to accumulate and utilize user information. Cookies are used as part of the Service, for example, to operate the shopping cart of the store. These cookies collect information only for statistical purposes and use only anonymized Cookie IDs, which do not directly identify users.
 
5. Provision to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information, a subset of user information, to any third party (including those located outside of Japan) without obtaining prior consent from the user. However, this does not apply in the following cases where it is necessary to provide personal information to a third party (including those located outside of Japan):
1. When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
2. In the case of provision of personal information due to business succession through merger or other reasons.
3. In accordance with the provisions of Section 4, when personal information is provided to partners or providers of information collection modules.
4. When it is necessary to cooperate with national institutions, local public bodies, or their consignees in executing affairs prescribed by laws, and when obtaining user consent could impede the execution of such affairs.
5. In other cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other applicable laws and regulations.

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will, upon request from a user for the disclosure of personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, verify that the request is made by the user themselves and will disclose the information to the user without delay (if the requested personal information does not exist, the user will be notified accordingly). However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose the information under the Personal Information Protection Law or other applicable laws. Please note that a fee (10 dollar per instance) will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

 

8. Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

1. Upon a user's request for (1) correction of their personal information on the basis that it is inaccurate, or for (2) suspension of its use on the basis that it has been handled beyond the scope of the publicly announced purposes of use or has been collected through deceitful or other wrongful means, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Company will verify that the request comes from the user themselves. The Company will promptly conduct the necessary investigation and, based on the results, will either correct the personal information or suspend its use. The user will be notified of such actions. If it is decided not to correct or suspend the use of the information, the user will be informed of this decision.
 
2. If a user requests the deletion of their personal information and the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with such a request, the Company will verify that the request comes from the user themselves, proceed with the deletion of the personal information, and notify the user of this action.
 
3. If the Company is not obligated to make corrections or suspend use pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the provisions of 8-1 and 8-2 do not apply.

10. Procedures for Changing the Privacy Policy

The Company may modify this Policy as necessary. However, any changes to this Policy that require the consent of users under the law will only apply to users who have agreed to the changes through the Company's prescribed method. When the Company modifies this Policy, it will inform users of the effective date and content of the updated Policy by displaying it on the Company's website or through other appropriate means of communication.
