OVERCOAT is a unisex brand launched by Ryuhei Oomaru in 2015. OVERCOAT is inspired by Oomaru's surroundings in New York, and the collection pieces pursue comfort with focus on patternmaking.

大丸は文化服装学院を卒業後、パリコレクション参加メゾンのもとでキャリアを積み、2006年に渡米。2008年に企画会社oomaru seisakusho 2を設立し、ニューヨークのデザイナーやブランドのクリエーティブコンサルタントおよびパターンメーカーとして活動してきた。

OVERCOAT has collaborated with many artists such as Peter Miles, Jack Webb, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and Richard Kern. Oomaru continues to create his clothes in his studios in New York and Tokyo.
