Overcoat x Richard Kern
In Spring 2024, OVERCOAT collaborated with photographer Richard Kern to create the Spring 24 lookbook, and a series of artwork by merging Seven Spikes, an art piece created by deconstructing and re-patterning the head of the Statue of Liberty, with images from Guns, an iconic work of Kern photographed in the 80s and 90s.

About Richard Kern
1970年代よりNYのロックミュージックやノー・ウェーブカルチャーシーンを記録してきたフォトグラファー・ビデオグラファー。映像作家、モデル、閲覧者の間にある心理的な空間を被写体とし、そのドライなアプローチは主体と客観の不整合性を浮き彫りにする。Interview、The Face、Dazed & Confused、Numero、Vice、Purpleなどへ寄稿を続け、作品はMOMA、The Whitney Museum他世界の50以上の美術館、ギャラリーで展示されている。
